●The shocking album released in 1989 by THE TIMERS, a masked band led by "ZERRY," a person who looks very much like Kiyoshiro Imawano, is now available on super high-end analog record "100% Pure LP"! Based on the concept of "Hugo of rock, blues, enka, and jaridare pop," the album is filled with exhilarating original songs that satirize society without mincing words, while also incorporating rhymes throughout. Among them, the cover of The Monkees' "Daydream Believer," which is said to be a song about feelings for his mother, stands out.
● "100% Pure LP" is a special Made in Japan product that debuted in 2012 and is a pioneer of modern high-fidelity records that has attracted great attention from all over the world. One of its features is the use of "uncolored virgin vinyl," which eliminates all coloring agents that affect sound, such as carbon, that are usually used in analog records. By using only pure straight vinyl chloride as the raw material, the stability of the molding is significantly enhanced.
● Another point is the use of "metal master pressing." By omitting the metal mother and stamper from the process leading up to the pressing of a normal analog record, it is possible to create grooves that are overwhelmingly faithful to the original by pressing directly from the metal master. However, it is less durable, so the number of pressings is strictly limited.
● This release also uses 45 RPM, which is used for 12-inch singles, instead of the usual 33 RPM of LP records. This means that the amount of time that can be recorded on each side is shorter, so it is a double LP set, but it is possible to engrave wider and longer grooves, and the stability is also improved by the high-speed rotation, creating a great advantage in the reproduction of detail and richness of volume.
●The audio source is a newly transferred 96kHz/24bit WAV file, and the mastering is done as flat as possible to avoid compromising the freshness of the sound and dynamic range. The goal is to create a natural sound that is faithful to the original.
