If you want to know who Poo is, listen to this! A monumental work including a song that changed the times: "Dancing Mist"!

Masaaki Kikuchi is one of Japan's leading pianists. From his career at the end of the 1950s until 2015, when he passed away, he led the Japanese jazz scene with his unique musicality and overwhelming presence, and was highly regarded worldwide. There is no time to list those that can be called representative works, but "POO-SUN", which bears his nickname, is undoubtedly one of them. A heavy and dynamic groove created by twin keyboards and twin drums. " "Dancing Mist" can be said to be the state reached by Kikuchi at this time. In addition, all the songs are listening to, such as the fantastic and beautiful "Yellow Carcass In The Blue" and the thrilling "Puzzle Ring". Sharp and strong. It is a masterpiece where Kikuchi's talent exploded.

Text by Yusuke Ogawa (UNIVERSOUNDS / DEEP JAZZ REALITY)
