Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his solo debut, this remaster features popular albums from the Kitty Years by Japan's leading guitarist, Masayoshi Takanaka.
As a pioneer of the recent global Japanese fusion boom, Masayoshi Takanaka is enjoying a surge in popularity not only in Japan but also in the West. Using high-resolution audio from the original master tapes, these albums were remastered and cut at London's Abbey Road Studios. All three albums were remastered and cut by Abbey Road's renowned engineer, Alex Wharton. Each release is presented on colored vinyl, enhancing the image of the jacket artwork.
"FINGER DANCIN'" is a 1980 mini-album bursting with funky Takanaka. As the title suggests, this is a lively 45 featuring Takanaka's fingers dancing across the guitar frets. The album includes four tracks, including the softly romantic "PLASTIC TEARS" and the heart-pounding disco tune "FINGER DANCIN'." (Original release date: September 1, 1980)
