●Centered around highly sought-after overseas tracks like the danceable urban groove numbers “Telephone Number” and “I LOVE YOU SO”, this third best-of album by Junko Ohashi also features the ballad “Tasogare”, showcasing her stunning vocal ability, and the duet “Isn't It Magic” with Yoshinori Monta. With the global rise in popularity of city pop in recent years, this compilation has renewed powerful drawn attention—and now makes its long-awaited return in the ultra high-end “100% Pure LP” analog format!

● "100% Pure LP" first appeared in 2012. It gained attention as a completely new, high-quality record made in Japan, and became a pioneer of modern high-fidelity vinyl, attracting interest from around the world. One of its key features is the use of uncolored virgin vinyl. Unlike conventional analog records that use carbon and other coloring agents which can affect sound quality, this LP eliminates all such additives. Instead, it uses only pure, straight polyvinyl chloride as its raw material, which significantly improves molding stability.

● Another standout feature is the metal master pressing method. Unlike conventional vinyl production, which uses a metal mother and stamper, this process presses directly from the metal master, allowing for exceptionally accurate groove formation. However, due to lower durability, the number of pressings is strictly limited.

● Even with superior vinyl and pressing techniques, high-quality source audio is essential. For this release, each track was carefully selected from the best available analog master tapes and transferred into 96kHz/24bit WAV files. Mastering was done as flatly as possible to preserve freshness and dynamic range, resulting in a natural and faithful reproduction of the original sound.

● Additionally, this release uses 45 RPM instead of the standard 33 RPM. Though this reduces the amount of music per side and requires a 2LP format, it allows for wider grooves and faster rotation, enhancing stability and delivering superior detail and volume.

● By meticulously refining every step—from source material to vinyl composition and pressing—the “100% Pure LP” series brings out the full potential of analog records. The result is a sound that is fresh and elegant, retaining the warmth and punch of analog while eliminating any muddiness or distortion. Truly, a pure and clear listening experience.
