The sound is full of determination and farewell. Masaaki Kikuchi, who is just before going to the United States, spins those famous songs with one heart.
Masaaki Kikuchi was a pianist who was active worldwide with a rare personality and a keen sense of the times. In 1973, he moved his activities to New York, but just before that, the live recording of the studio live with fans was this work "End For The Beginning."
During this period, he challenged innovative sound by adopting electrified instruments and irregular formations. In this work, he is approached with an orthodox formation of two pipes + piano trio. This includes a total of 5 songs composed of Kikuchi's originals. Preparedness creates passion, and farewell evokes Japanese emotions. Famous songs such as "Rain", "Ginkai" and "Green Dance" rush in like waves from beyond the tense air. It is a masterpiece that can be said to be one of the culminations of Kikuchi.
