The 30th anniversary edition of Sunny Day Service's "Tokyo" drew a major response as soon as it was announced. "Ajisai" from the album is released as a single for the first time. This fully limited-production 7-inch vinyl is released on December 5, 2026, for Record Day 2026 Day 2.

Driven by a vivid acoustic groove, "Ajisai" is one of the album's finest young soul numbers. Still performed live today, it is one of Sunny Day Service's signature songs and remains especially popular with listeners. The coupling track is "96tsubu no Namida (Country Version)." For this single release, new mastering and cutting were carried out at Studio Columbia, making the sound even more vivid. The cover design boldly rearranges a panel from artist Hayashi Seiichi's representative work "Red Colored Elegy" into a new visual by Sokabe Keiichi himself. The story of "Red Colored Elegy," which greatly influenced Sunny Day Service, meets the lush lyricism of "Ajisai" in this special 2026 artwork.
