Kimiko Kasai's prolific career began as a jazz vocalist, performing with Mal Waldron, Gil Evans, Herbie Hancock, and others. Perigo A Noite is part of her electro-pop Japanese works, released after moving to Toshiba EMI in 1987. Kasai wrote all the lyrics and composed all the songs herself. Her singing, described by HMV Japan, is a"adult, exotic, and majestic." Japanese pressing.
